Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Wireless 642-741 IUWVN

Course Title: Implementing Cisco Unified Wireless Voice Networks

Course Code: IUWVN 642-741
Duration: 5 Days

Course Overview

The Implementing Cisco Unified Wireless Voice Networks (IUWVN) Cisco training course has been designed to help you prepare for the Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Wireless certification. During the course you will learn how to integrate VoWLAN services into the WLAN and to implement QoS and high-bandwidth applications into wireless networks. This course contains `hands on` labs, in which you will learn to configure QoS on a controller, configure end-to-end QoS on a router, capture and analyze QoS parameters, manage the WLAN from the WCS, verify the network infrastructure and place a call, work with profiles, configure wireless security for voice devices, perform VoWLAN survey, configure the network for multicast, create a video WLAN, and work with video WLAN and multicast.

Target Audience

Candidates who should consider attending the IUWVN 642-741 Cisco training course are networking professionals, particularly those seeking their Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Wireless certification.

Course Objectives

On successfully completing the IUWVN 642-741 course you will be able to:
  • Implement QoS for wireless applications using the best practices guidlines.
  • Understand traditional and VoIP architecture.
  • Design a wireless network for voice support.
  • Implement a Voice over Wireless LAN network infrastructure.
  • Implement multicast in a wireless network.
  • Configure the wireless infrastructure for video and high bandwidth applications.

Course Prerequisites

Candidates attending the IUWVN 642-741 Cisco training course should hold a valid CCNA Wireless Certification.

Testing and Certification

The IUWVN Cisco training course is the recommended preparation for the 642-741 IUWVN - Implementing Cisco Unified Wireless Voice Networks exam. Please note that IUWVN 642-741 is only one of four courses required for the Cisco Certified Network Professional for Wireless Career Certification and IAUWS, IUWMS and ICUWSS are recommended for further study.
