The Cisco Data Center Unified Computing Design (DCUCD) training course has been designed to provide candidates with the knowledge and skills required to design scalable, reliable and intelligent Data Centre Unified Computing solutions. The DCUCD course incorporates a wide range of technologies including:

  • Catalyst 6500 in Virtual Switching System (VSS)

Course Prerequisites

Candidates attending the DCUCD 642-982 Cisco training course should hold a valid Cisco CCNA Certification and be proficient in Designing a Cisco Nexus switch solution (DCNID is recommended). Candidates should also be familiar with designing SAN solutions with Cisco MDS 9000 switches (DCSNS is recommended). Candidates should also possess VMware Certified Professional certification (VCP 3 or 4) - (VSICM or VSFT recommended).

Testing and Certification

The DCUCD Cisco training course is the recommended preparation for the 642-982 DCUCD - Cisco Data Center Unified Computing Design exam and is required for candidates wishing to achieve the Cisco Data Center Unified Design Specialist Certification.
