The Implementing Cisco Unity Connection v8.0 (IUC) training course has been designed to review the architecture, components, functionality, features and capabilities of the Cisco Unity Connection. IUC details the features available for Cisco Unity Connection using the GUI and CLI interfaces available, as well as specific tools and reports using the Remote Port Status Monitor and Real-Time Monitoring Tools. Please note that this course is based on V8.0 of Cisco Unity Connection.

Target Audience

Candidates who should consider attending the IUC 642-262 Cisco training course are IT Support Personnel responsible for the implementation and integration of Cisco Unity Connection v8.0 servers. This course is also recommended for Level Two Help Desk Support Staff and Cisco Partners engineering staff who will be installing and supporting their customers Cisco Unity Connection v8.0 systems.

Candidates attending the IUC 642-262 Cisco training course should have a basic understanding of the fundamental terms and concepts of computer networking, including LANs, WANs, and IP switching and routing GK3150 or ICND1 and ICND2 is recommended. Candidates should have a basic knowledge of traditional public switched telephone network (PSTN) operations and technologies, including PBX and voice-mail administration tasks as well as Cisco Unified Communications Manager or legacy PBX implementations.

Testing and Certification
