Course Overview

The Implementing Cisco Storage Networking Solutions v4.0 (ICSNS) training course has been designed for systems and field engineers who implement storage networking solutions with the Cisco MDS 9000 platform. ICSNS covers the key concepts and procedures which are required to be able to install, configure and manage the MDS 9000 platform. This course also covers how to improve the availability, scalability, performance and manageability of the SAN. Please note that this course is based on NX-OS 4.2 and 5.0.

Target Audience

Candidates who should consider attending the ICSNS 642-359 Cisco training course are Field and System Engineers who deploy and operate a Cisco SAN solution.

Course Objectives

On successfully completing the ICSNS 642-359 course you will be able to:

Course Prerequisites

Candidates attending the ICSNS 642-359 Cisco training course should have a basic understanding of data storage hardware components and protocols, including Small Computer Systems Interface (SCSI), Fibre Channel and IP networking concepts. Candidates are also recommended to have previously attended ICND1 and ICND2 or CCNABC.

Testing and Certification

The ICSNS Cisco training course is the recommended preparation for the 642-359 ICSNS - Implementing Cisco Storage Network Solutions exam.
